David and Susan Axelrod to Headline the 2018 Leaders in Innovation Dinner
On November 19, the former senior advisor to President Barack Obama and current Senior Political Commentator for CNN, David Axelrod, and Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) Founding Chair, Susan Axelrod, will join scientists, researchers and community members for the 2018 Leaders in Innovation Dinner.
The evening will profile research advancements and innovations in the area of epilepsy and will include the formal awarding of the J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine - one of Canada's most prestigious research awards - to Istvan Mody, PhD.
During the evening, David and Susan will participate in an engaging armchair discussion about their lives, careers and their journey as parents of a daughter with epilepsy.
