Peter White has been the Executive Director of Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships at Western University since 2013. In his role he works with all three of the levels of government advocating and working on behalf of Western's interests. He works with the private sector on linking companies with Western in research and development fields. He also manages the Fraunhofer Project Centre and Western's Advanced Manufacturing efforts. Previous to Western, Peter was the President and CEO of the London Economic Development Corporation from 2007 to 2013. Before returning to London, he held senior roles in Nexent, Globalstar , and Motorola and was a board member of Globalstar Canada from 1999 to 2015. He supports many initiatives in the City of London and serves as the Board Chair of the London Convention Centre, Vice Chair of Airshow London, and is a board member at Huron College and the South West Economic Alliance.
Peter is a graduate of Western, and he and his wife Michelle live in London.
