‘Showdown In The Downtown’ is an evening of fundraising to fight kidney disease and improve patient outcomes after solid organ transplantation.
Showdown will feature an exceptional mingling, dining, and an exciting Muay Thai combat sports card for you and your valued guests. The opening round features complimentary refreshments, tasty tidbits, and a chance to meet friends of kidney research. There will also be lots of great donated items for the silent auction and a raffle for your bidding pleasure. We will then sit down for a delicious three course plated dinner and dessert followed by the main event – combat fights sanctioned by Muay Thai Ontario!
The event simulates a Las Vegas like atmosphere with food, drink and an amazing silent auction. The Showdown has also featured musical concerts with acts like Jim Cuddy, Chantal Kreviazuk, Our Lady Peace and Jann Arden. Over 14 years, the Showdown has raised over $2.85 million for a variety of charities.
