Renovation Update

The London Convention Centre is doing its part to invest in London’s future. Starting October19th, the 22-year old Convention Centre has launched an important capital improvement project. This $5 million investment to upgrade the LCC will further our everyday commitment to clients - best in class service and expectations exceeded with every interaction. We are excited for all the changes that will be taking place over the next year, and cannot wait to share them with our community.

During the last few months of 2015 the renovation crew was hard at work taking down the old, and getting ready for the new - but this did not put a stop to our world class service to our clients and guests. The experience of our guests is always top priority here at the London Convention Centre. A carefully crafted construction schedule ensures that there is no noise or mess during events. This past fall the LCC played host to the Ontario Motor Coach Association. despite the renovations, Mardi Schueler, General Manager of OMCA had this to say about their experience: "OMCA recently held its 2015 conference and marketplace at the London Convention Centre. The staff were friendly and really provided a sense of caring and the food was incredible! While we were aware there were renovations underway, there was no disruption or indication for our delegates. All of our expectations were exceeded and we offer congratulations to all the London CC staff for an excellent job!”
